WELCOME TO HIBIKI HAUS

In the forest, there are no notifications. No deadlines. Just birdsong, cedar, and the slow, ancient rhythm of light through trees.

I built Hibiki Haus for this moment: the one where you step out of the fast world and into something quieter, something older. A pause. A breath. A return.

Located deep in the Tasmanian woods, Hibiki Haus is not just a retreat - it's a ritual. Inspired by the Japanese concept of hibiki, meaning echo or resonance, my hope is that you will experience a stay that leaves something behind in you, long after you leave.

Our first off-grid forest cabin is crafted from dark timber and silence. Here you'll find warm light, a cedar hot tub, a journal, and just enough to comfort you - but not distract you. No screens. No schedules. Just space.

The home is powered by nature, just like you. The sun, rain, and fire all harnessed so that you may connect with the forest and re-charge. You might light a fire. You might walk barefoot through moss. You might write a letter to no one in particular. Here, every small act becomes sacred.

This is the beginning of our journey, and I’m so grateful you're here.

I’ll be using this journal to share stories from the forest, rituals to bring into your life, and slow reflections on stillness, nature, and being.

For now, wander as you wish. The forest is waiting.

With warmth and quiet joy,
Emma & Stanley 🐾
